Yet another shot of the kitchen. It seemed to me that the island is backwards there, but not everyone agrees. See those open cabinets? Those had more of those black glass doors, but they were missing. I can only imagine what happened if they were left open and the owner's two 100 pound+ dogs came running through! The intact ones were covered in hair. Also, see that beam at the top of the picture? That is the original outside wall of the kitchen (and the house).
